Amazon consentirà la prenotazione di hotel

Pronti per spendere ancora più denaro su Amazon? Stando a fonti vicine alla società di Jeff Bezos (nella foto a lato), Amazon sarebbe in procinto di lanciare un servizio per la prenotazione di soggiorni in hotel.

Pronti per spendere ancora più denaro su Amazon? Stando a fonti vicine alla società di Jeff Bezos (nella foto a lato), Amazon sarebbe in procinto di lanciare un servizio per la prenotazione di soggiorni in hotel. Il nuovo strumento dovrebbe debuttare online nel 2015 previa stipula di una serie di accordi con gli esercenti.

Si dovrebbe cominciare dapprima con gli Stati Uniti, per poi estendere il servizio ad una lista di Paesi selezionati. Amazon, inoltre, dovrebbe concentrarsi sugli hotel e sui resorts indipendenti trattenendo per sé una commissione del 15% per ogni singola prenotazione andata a buon fine.

Il nuovo servizio dovrebbe chiamarsi Amazon Travel e potrebbe fornire numerosi contenuti editoriali a corollario del meccanismo di prenotazione.
Sempre stando alle indiscrezioni, Amazon avrebbe attinto a piene mani al database di TripAdvisor per selezionare le strutture alle quali proporsi in una fase iniziale.
