Backup and Sync, il nuovo software di Google per il backup e la sincronizzazione

Con un po’ di ritardo rispetto a quanto precedentemente pianificato, Google ha rilasciato oggi Backup and Sync (o “Backup e sincronizzazione”, in italiano), un programma per sistemi Windows e macOS che consente di effettuare il backup dei dati più importanti memorizzati su desktop e notebook appoggiandosi ai server cloud di Google.

Backup and Sync sostituisce le vecchie applicazioni client Google Foto e Google Drive installabili su PC e sistemi Mac.

Il nuovo programma consente di caricare e archiviare online, all’interno del proprio account, i file di qualsiasi cartella memorizzati su computer, fotocamera e schede SD.
Grazie a Backup and Sync gli stessi contenuti risulteranno immediatamente accessibili da smartphone, tablet o computer collegandosi, anche da web, ai servizi Drive e Foto.

Backup and Sync offre una semplice metodologia per copiare foto, video e file di qualunque genere dai propri computer al cloud di Google.
I file risulteranno sempre disponibili da qualunque dispositivo e si sarà certi di non perderli mai, neppure nel caso in cui il disco fisso o l’unità SSD locali dovessero malauguratamente danneggiarsi.

I file caricati sul proprio account Google vanno a decrementare lo spazio disponibile sul cloud, sempre verificabile da questa pagina.
