A volte può capitare che tentando di connettersi da Windows 2000 su computer remoti usando la sintassi \\nomecomputer\nomerisorsacondivisa venga mostrato
un messaggio di errore che informa sull’impossibilità di accedere alla risorsa remota.
Ciò avviene spesso quando il computer al quale ci si desidera connettere esegue un sistema operativo “vecchio”, ad esempio, Windows 95.
Potete tentare di risolvere il problema comportandovi come segue:
Portatevi in Start, Impostazioni, Rete e connessioni remote, fate clic con il tasto destro del mouse sulla voce “Connessione alla rete locale (LAN)” quindi scegliete la voce “Proprietà”. Selezionate “Protocollo Internet TCP/IP” quindi premete il pulsante “Proprietà”.
Fate clic sul pulsante “Avanzate…” quindi sulla scheda “WINS” infine attivate la voce “Abilita NetBIOS su TCP/IP
