Windows NT/2000: Impostazioni di CHKDSK

Quando il sistema operativo non viene chiuso correttamente, Windows NT/2000 provvede ad avviare l'utilità CHKDSK per verificare l'integrità dei dati memorizzati sul disco fisso e risolvere eventuali problemi.

Quando il sistema operativo non viene chiuso correttamente, Windows NT/2000 provvede ad avviare l’utilità CHKDSK per verificare l’integrità dei dati memorizzati sul disco fisso e risolvere eventuali problemi.

Una speciale stringa, contenuta all’interno del registro di sistema, permette di regolare prima che Windows NT/2000 provveda ad effettuare il controllo al successivo riavvio del sistema.

Avviate l’Editor del registro di sistema (Start , Esegui… , REGEDIT) quindi portatevi in corrispondenza della chiave seguente:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager

Create, quindi, scegliendo dal menù Modifica la voce Nuovo quindi Valore DWORD un nuovo valore DWORD denominandolo AutoChkTimeOut. Qualora
esistesse già fateci doppio clic sopra in modo da poterne modificare l’impostazione.

Specificate il tempo di attesa (in secondi) che deve venire osservato prima dell’esecuzione di CHKDSK. Il valore predefinito è 10 (ossia dieci secondi).
Qualora vogliate disattivare l’utilità CHKDSK inserite il valore 0.
