Google non ha voluto sentire ragioni ed ha bloccato l'applicazione YouTube sviluppata dai tecnici Microsoft per il sistema operativo Windows Phone.

Google non ha voluto sentire ragioni ed ha bloccato l’applicazione YouTube sviluppata dai tecnici Microsoft per il sistema operativo Windows Phone. Secondo Mountain View, Microsoft avrebbe continuato a violare le condizioni d’uso del servizio YouTube.
La querelle affonda le radici nel passato: già a maggio Google aveva lanciato un ultimatum a Microsoft chiedendo l’immediata rimozione della loro applicazione (L’app YouTube per Windows Phone non piace a Google).

Microsoft, da parte sua, ha preso atto della decisione di Google spiegando ai suoi utenti e, soprattutto, ai possessori di dispositivi Windows Phone che i tecnici sono già al lavoro per risolvere il problema.

La mossa di Google arriva come un fulmine a ciel sereno: le due aziende sembravano infatti aver imboccato la strada della collaborazione cooperando per la realizzazione di una app YouTube “ufficiale” destinata alla piattaforma Windows Phone.
