Presentate in occasione della Google I/O di quest’anno, le API PaymentsRequest permetteranno a chiunque gestisca un sito di e-commerce di ottimizzare e velocizzare il processo di acquisto.

Google ha infatti rivelato che Chrome 53 supporterà le PaymentsRequest API: l’idea è appunto quella di rendere gli acquisti online più immediati, soprattutto per quegli utenti che si servono di un dispositivo mobile.

I pagamenti online diverranno standard con Chrome 53
Implementando le API proposte da Google sarà possibile trasferire la gestione del pagamento al browser che si occuperà di mostrare la stessa interfaccia per tutti gli acquisti, di esporre varie modalità per il versamento del denaro e di verificare la validità della carta di credito.

Come spiega Google in questa nota, Chrome 53 permetterà ai siti web di visualizzare messaggi direttamente nell’area delle notifiche di Android.
