La Linux Foundation ha indetto "LinuxCon", un evento che sarà tenuto a cadenza annuale e la cui partecipazione sarà aperta a tutti: sviluppatori, fornitori hardware e software, semplici utenti.

La Linux Foundation ha indetto “LinuxCon”, un evento che sarà tenuto a cadenza annuale e la cui partecipazione sarà aperta a tutti: sviluppatori, fornitori hardware e software, semplici utenti.
La prima “LinuxCon” si terrà a Portland, negli Stati Uniti, nel mese di Settembre 2009 e sarà plasmata sul modello della “Linux Plumbers Conference”, in occasione della quale gli sviluppatori si incontrano e discutono di argomenti basati su componenti chiave delle moderne distribuzioni Linux.

La nuova manifestazione presentata dalla Linux Foundation favorirà lo scambio di idee ed informazioni sull’amministrazione di sistemi Linux, sull’installazione su sistemi desktop, su dispositivi mobili, sulle versioni “embedded” del pinguino.
