WhatsApp Business: KLM prima compagnia aerea al mondo con un account verificato

La nota compagnia aerea olandese annuncia l'avvio di un nuovo servizio che prevede l'utilizzo di WhatsApp per colloquiare direttamente con la clientela e inviare, ad esempio, carta d'imbarco e informazioni sui voli.

La compagnia aerea olandese KLM è la prima al mondo a dotarsi di un account WhatsApp Business verificato.
KLM ha stretto un’intesa con WhatsApp, società controllata da Facebook, per offrire alla clientela informazioni in tempo reale su voli, conferme delle prenotazioni, l’invio dei biglietti veri e propri (carte d’imbarco), assistenza e supporto.

Al momento si tratta di un “test pilota” che WhatsApp e KLM stanno conducendo con una ridotta cerchia di clienti ma che presto – nei prossimi giorni – sarà esteso a tutti gli interessati, viaggiatori italiani compresi.

KLM “celebra” WhatsApp come uno strumento estremamente pratico ed efficace che permette di raggiungere direttamente ampie fette di clienti. Ne viene ricordata anche la sicurezza: grazie all’utilizzo della cifratura end-to-end nessun altro, se non l’utente e KLM, possono accedere ai dati personali contenuti nelle conversazioni.

Sempre attraverso WhatsApp, la compagnia aerea fornirà indicazioni utili alla clientela in 10 lingue diverse.
