Windows 10 Aggiornamento di maggio 2019: frequenti disconnessioni WiFi

Microsoft conferma che sui PC dotati di scheda wireless Qualcomm possono verificarsi improvvise disconnessioni. È quindi importante aggiornare i driver all'ultima versione. Nel frattempo, su questi sistemi, è stata sospesa l'installazione di Windows 10 Aggiornamento di maggio 2019.

Microsoft ha confermato che i PC sui quali è presente una scheda WiFi basata su chip Qualcomm potrebbero presentare un fastidioso problema. Dopo l’installazione di Windows 10 Aggiornamento di maggio 2019 (versione 1903), gli utenti potrebbero riscontrare frequenti disconnessioni della rete wireless.

Per evitare questo tipo di difficoltà, gli utenti sono invitati ad aggiornare i driver della scheda di rete Qualcomm all’ultima versione facendo riferimento al sito web del produttore prima ancora di installare Windows 10 Aggiornamento di maggio 2019.

Sui sistemi Windows 10 ove l’utente ha lasciato attiva la telemetria (in molti la disattivano usando strumenti come WPD), dopo la scoperta del problema, Microsoft ha disabilitato la possibilità di aggiornare all’ultimo feature update. Non si potrà quindi applicare Windows 10 Aggiornamento di maggio 2019 fintanto che i driver Qualcomm non verranno adeguati all’ultima release.

Suggeriamo di premere la combinazione di tasti Windows+R, digitare devmgmt.msc e fare doppio clic su Schede di rete. Qui si può verificare l’eventuale utilizzo del chip Qualcomm.
